This was an enticing read. The cover and name is what made me pick it up. But I fell in love with the story within it.

It was nice to get a perspective on both culture and religion that a part of me already had but I achieved a better glimpse into.

I found myself wanting to โ€˜bookmarkโ€™ so many sentences and I will share some of them here on my blog because I fell in love with the words.

This book takes you on a journey of a woman who tried so hard to go against herself but fumbled face first into the reality she didnโ€™t want to accept but always knew was right. Along her path she learned a few new things that strengthened her insights of not only her self but her home as a whole.

A reminder that there is more than just US and that there is always another story from another perspective to be told.

I want to say more but I donโ€™t want to give away the book.

Pick up this read at your local library or thrift store and dive in.

Connect with me if you read it and tell me your favorite parts/pains, what you felt as you read, if you can relate, or if its just a book you enjoy on your shelf.
